No hace falta decir que Peñíscola es uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España. La histórica localidad costera pertenece a la asociación que lleva ese nombre y sus numerosos visitantes son sus mejores embajadores, ya que cualquiera que haya paseado por sus calles, visitado su castillo o disfrutado de sus playas y gastronomía conoce bien la belleza de la localidad del Baix Maestrat. Desde este sábado, además, sus habitantes pueden presumir de un nuevo reconocimiento, ya que Peñíscola se ha convertido en ciudad Ferrero Rocher 2021.
Peñíscola es el primer municipio con mar elegido por la marca de chocolates para competir en esta consolidada iniciativa navideña. Su predecesor en la Comunitat Valenciana y en la provincia de Castellón es Morella, que ganó el concurso en 2015 y brilla cada año de forma especial desde entonces. “Nuestra Navidad mediterránea se pondrá en valor junto con nuestras tradiciones y no puedo estar más contento”, ha explicado Martínez.

It goes without saying that Peñíscola is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. As of this Saturday, its residents can also boast of a new recognition, as Peñíscola has become a Ferrero Rocher 2021 town.
Peñíscola is the first municipality with sea chosen by the chocolates brand to compete in this consolidated Christmas initiative. Its predecessor in the Comunitat Valenciana and in the province of Castellón is Morella, which won the competition in 2015 and shines every year in a special way since then. “Our Mediterranean Christmas will be highlighted along with our traditions and I couldn’t be happier,” explained Martínez.
